Crash Drum Custom is an independent French drum workshop founded in 2015, specializing in high-end custom drum kits and snare drums crafted from solid wood and bronze. Each instrument is entirely built in-house, from raw material selection to final assembly.

The workshop is known for its True Solid Shell construction, where shells are carved from a single block of wood to maximize resonance, dynamic precision, and tonal character. In addition to solid wood shells, Crash Drum Custom also produces bronze drums, offering exceptional projection, power, and harmonic complexity.

Selected instruments have been commissioned by the Maison de la Radio and the Orchestre National de France, reflecting a professional standard of craftsmanship and sonic performance.

Particular attention is given to proprietary hardware development, combining mechanical reliability, refined aesthetics, and acoustic integrity.

Chaque instrument est entièrement conçu et réalisé à la main, de la sélection de la matière première jusqu’au montage final.

L’atelier est reconnu pour ses fûts True Solid Shell taillés dans la masse, offrant une résonance naturelle, une grande précision dynamique et une identité sonore marquée. En parallèle, Crash Drum Custom développe des fûts en bronze, recherchés pour leur puissance, leur projection et leur richesse harmonique.
