Our Legacy: From Rimocc’ to Rimindie
Rimindie is a separate & complementary venture of Rimocc’, an established local drum shop rooted in the “Triple R” philosophy: Re-use, Recycle, Rock. Founder Patrice Le Moine began as a local scout, specializing in the consignment and sale of second-hand drums and percussion.
It was through this hands-on work with the local drumming community that a missing link was discovered: a dedicated space for the “alternative voices” of the industry, the master builders operating in focused workshops, obsessing over hand-hammered alloys and resonant timber shells.
The Genesis: Loft Artisan
Before the Rimindie marketplace was born, the Rimocc’ shop became a laboratory for innovation. We began collaborating with independent artisans who sought a home for their creations. These makers sent their masterworks to our shop for demonstrations, allowing customers to feel the vibration of a hand-crafted shell and hear the nuance of artisan bronze.
This movement culminated in the “Loft Artisan” a series of filmed & audio recorded local events dedicated to showcasing independent products to the public. These sessions proved that there was a deep hunger for instruments with soul, character, and a story.
The Evolution
Rimindie is the natural extension of this mission. We have taken the spirit of the Loft Artisan events and scaled it for the world. Operated as a separate, complementary venture, it adds a new dimension to the ecosystem while Rimocc’ continues its core mission completely unchanged.
What began in a local shop expands now into a global stage for elite creators. Rimindie offers drum enthusiasts a distinct choice: a curated marketplace that serves as the perfect, high-end balance to the mainstream industry.
We aren’t just selling drums, we are continuing a legacy of scouting the best, supporting the maker, and honoring the craft.
